So pretty and frilly are the cascading layers of chiffon ruffles on this vintage black cocktail dress, circa late 50s, early 60s.

The sleeveless party LBD consists of a black taffeta fabric, with semi-sheer chiffon layers and ribbon piping in a tiered design, extending from the neckline and covering the shoulders and bodice. 

The dress also has two satin ribbon ties at the waist, a metal zippered back, and softly pleated skirt.

There are no labels.

Very good condition – vibrant and intact.
